From that site, “The settlement was approved on January 30, 2009 … The mailing of the settlement checks and/or informational pamphlets took place on or around October 8, 2010.”
First of all I have no idea what this is all about. I truly don’t remember joining in any class action suit and I am not even sure who the Hell Northwestern Mutual is, I checked all my records and can’t recall having insurance with these people. But recieved a Big Fat check for $10.00, Whoo!!!! What the hell do you think I can do with this? Website doesn’t give any information and phone is even worst

I have received a letter regarding the Nicholas Papadakis lawsuit with a NWML printout of the explanation NORTHWESTERN MUTUAL INDIVIDUAL DISABILITY INSURANCE POLICY, DIVIDENDS, AND ILLUSTRATIONS. Unfortunately there was no check included. How do I apply for my check?

does this mean this insurance company is a fraud?
Far from it (“a fraud”). NW is likely one of the most upstanding mutual companies in the business. Look at 10/18 post for basic facts.
