I am positive that the attorneys involved on this case only worked SO HARD for the goodness of it, just defending the people who were so wronged. They probably did it for minimum wage…..right? I have never met one attorney who didn’t have $$ signs in their eye sockets. I have never met an attorney who didn’t profit more than the class action people. Morons? really?….grow up!

I doubt the lawyers did this for the common good either. Capitalism isn’t a bad system. You certainly didn’t chip in money to teach NML a lesson did you Samantha? The entitlement mentality in America shocks me. Someone should fight for your rights for free. When you have completed seven years of post-secondary school and taken on a case with huge costs that might not payoff, all for a contingent fee, then I will believe you are invested in your fellow citizen’s causes.

I received a letter and pamphlet today re Papadakis v. NMLI Co.
Rust Consulting, the sender/apparent Settlement Administrator, should be ashamed by the lack of info contained. After calling their toll free # and checking their web site, I still don’t know if my past disability policy includes me in the class settlement , and what, if anything may be due me.

    Thanks,

I’ve been out of work fo 28 weeks and this check will solve a lot of my problems, even after I spend @1.50 of it for gas to drive to the bank.

I AM AN INSURANCE AGENT. I DO NOT SELL NWML I HAVE ABOUT 10 POLICIES WITH THE COMPANY. ALL WHOLE LIFE POLICIES. SOME I HAVE HAD FOR 30 YEARS.ALL OF THESE PAY DIVIDENDS. MY POLICY ALONE PAID OVER 4500 DOLLARS TO INCREASE THE CASH VALUE LAST YEAR. THE TOTAL COST OF ALL POLICIES WAS 3372.00 LAST YEAR. I HAVE HAD LIFE INSURANCE PROTECTION FOR MY WHOLE FAMILY FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND ACCRUED A CASH VALUE OF OVER $125,000. IT EARNS ABOUT 8% PER YEAR AFTER PREMIUMS ARE FIGURED INTO IT.NWML IS AN AWESOME COMPANY. TRY TO GET 8% FROM YOUR BANK. I PLAN ON USING THIS MONEY FOR RETIREMENT SOMEDAY. THAT IS IF I DONT DIE FIRST.TERM POLICIES ARE JUST THAT. FOR A PREDETERMINED TERM AT A PREDETERMINED PRICE. IF THAT IS WHAT YOU BOUGHT THAT IS WHAT YOU HAVE. QUIT COMPLAINING BECAUSE YOU GOT WHAT YOU PAID FOR.

I received a settlement check in this law suit. However, I don’t know what client this is for. The Policy Number is 13243695. I would appreciate it if you could give me a name for this policy number
