If you feel that strongly, file a separate lawsuit to get what you feel that you “deserve”. None of the readers would want you to feel further “insulted”.

Keep in mind, though, that the burden will be your’s to prove both liability and damages.

Never heard of this until now and think I will just call my NML agent tomorrow and put this check back into Company coffers with some added cash for more of their good insurance.

INSULTED? You got what you were owed and perhaps a more! I can’t believe some of the selfish comments on. Kudos to those who have a firm grasp on morality and justice and have made their stand that yes, there was an error made on NWML’s part but they treated us well and don’t feel that we are ‘owed’ any more than we received. However, some are asking where’s their part of $92 million dollars? Seriously? Shame on you…that thinking is what is wrong with this country. You are not owed something for nothing. You got what you were owed and that is that. The wrongs have been made right. Justice has served you. Move on. It’s a shame that we have the lawyers out there trying to make their millions off of one case against a large company. It is sad that we demonize companies such as NWML. This was a screw up on their part but I don’t believe it was malicious. I ripped up my check. I don’t want to be a part of this.

I received a notice in 2008 about the class action suit but had moved out of state to take care of my ailing grandparents and never thought about it until just this year when I was going through some old papers that I had in storage. How do I find out if I am possibly owned anything?
