Hey another guy Rick. I know that’s what the folks who study bones and DNA are saying, but they weren’t physically present back then anymore than your worldly knowledge. History belongs to the hand that wields it…in this case, you “whites”. Besides, we did not land here “uninvited, or better yet as “illegals” like you “whites” at Plymouth Rock. Brought your disease and your God, better weapons and just made yourselves at home. Please do pack your bags and go back from whence your ancestors came. Don’t forget to take “racism” back to its proper place. Thank you very much.

So you are telling me that when different tribes descended on each other, THEY were welcome??? you’re telling me that there were no inter-tribe fights and killings over land, etc? you have got to be KIDDING me. Please do not make up your own history for the sake of a discussion.

This is a $55 million dollar settlement, not a judgement. Nobody admits wrongodoing and nobody is at fault legally. The only real winners on this type of suit are the attorneys as usual. Those individuals included in the class get a few bucks and the attorneys get millions. I have always referred to these types of suits and the trial lawyer full employement plan. Some of our most prominent attorneys have made huge fortunes based on this type of suit. I have no opinion on the validity of the suit since both parties arguing in this line of posts have some valid points. I would just like to see the day when everyone could just get along on their own worth. No predjudice from either side. Silly idea.

The Limey’s liked to say about the GI’s, “The problem with them is that they are overpaid, oversexed, and over here.” However, the real problem was with the Brits, in that they were underpaid, undersexed, and under Eisenhower.

Nebraska. So we’re all mean and cruel. A perfect example: Al. He’d sell his grandmother for grub. If History is replete with butchery and those who do not remember their history are bound to repeat it, I do not see any hope for friendship with you “whites”. So get over it!!

YOu know, I think every single person on this post probably deserves some sort of apology for their ancestors past. jews, muslims, christians, women, children, men…there isn’t one single group that hasn’t been hated on.

yes, history is important…and we all need to know it. but you know what…we can’t change it. i cannot undo any of the past. but i can learn it and move forward.

and you know what…i refuse to apologize for what OTHERS did wrong. I have choices in life and i choose not to have poor attitudes against others based on stereotypes.

How funny as the posting from “oh please” was not only stupid but untrue. If oh please wants to keep believing in the crap he spouts well fine but it doesn’t make it true.

Sam you are da bomb. Your post was right on and excellent. Too bad too many others are hiding behind their race card to read and/or comprehend what you posted. Al — your original post was completely retarded.

I’ve never known anyone to get or keep a job because they were not a “minority”. Then again, I’ve never personally known anyone to get or keep a job because they were a minority. Go figure.

    Al,

I wouldn’t say they are corrupt, nor should they shoot themselves.

To “oh please” and everyone else who still blames corporations for others’ downtrodden status – get a clue and look around. The playing field is level. Nobody forces anyone to live in a particular area. Nobody forces anyone to send their children to schools that are sub-standard. There are free public schools everywhere, I went to one, and they provide education. Work hard, try hard and you reap the rewards. I couldn’t care less about any differences between me and another applicant. The one that can do the job better should get the job. If they can’t pass the test they can’t do the job. Save the lawsuits for truly illegal practices.
