Really, the word is “seriously” in the content you propose not “serious.”

At least we now know at what proper value your past and future comments should be taken–which is to say, nil.

    As you were, carry on.

last time i checked…public education was free (all the way through until you graduate, even!!). i’m white…didn’t get one scholarship, now sit with college loan debt up to my eyeballs…but i don’t mind the price i will have to pay, my education has served me well. heck i plan to get into even more debt as i get ready to start on my master’s.

i can understand wanting to “level the playing field.” but assuming all white people are out to get minorities…well that’s discrimination AND racist. don’t accuse me of something that quite frankly isn’t true.

i’m a WOMAN…do you know how hard it is to break inside the “good ol’ boys club?” but that doesn’t stop me. I work hard everyday and have been promoted due to that. that, my friend, is how you level the playing field…

    Coolnmellow,
I think the name Buttercup was a subtle joke at your credibility’s expense. Glad you caught it.

As a white guy, I am a minority in here at home in Texas. Guess I need to sue someone.

Unfortunately, “Suing in lieu of Lotto” was not taught at the schools I attended.

Education is the key. The suburban schools are so far ahead of most urban schools that it is unfair. If you give that same minority the suburban education he will thrive. But he will never be a member of the good ole boys network or not have to prove himself daily.

You “whites” renamed me as an “Indian” because you did not know where the hell you were going…thought of this country as India. Now India is doing all your computer work. Serves you well. At any rate, in the military you “whites” regarded me something short of a mule and put your so-called “glass-ceiling” as a barrier for me to advance. To Nebraska — the preferred minority in this country is “the white woman”. Your boot-straps are always recognizable as opposed to “other minorties bootstraps”. In your corporations where I have worked, you called me “Cochise”, “Sitting-Bull”, “Crazy Horse” and “Injun”, and other typical slurs. Since I never reached Managerial or Supervisory levels because of the low-lives in that employment world, I now work for an insurance agency with good people. The reason I respond is not to ask for your pity…but simply to ask you TO GET THE HELL OUT OF MY COUNTRY.

i am going to take your post as serious, although it did make me laugh. the reason you did not succeed with large corporations is simple-your hatred is so pervasive that it poisons you and your thought process. a blind man would see it. in your present job you are paid for your performance in selling. hopefully you sell only to fellow native americans on the reservations, because i’m sure if you were turned down by a white man you would probably scalp him. but seriously, you gave me a laugh.

    to “it’s my counry”

not sure what a counry is…but anyway…what is it with this boot strap business and ME being the worst kind…sounds like discrimiation! you don’t know me yet you are judging me based on my skin color and what others “similar” to me have done before….awesome…way to keep the vicious cycle going!

and no, i won’t get out of YOUR country. because quite frankly, it isn’t YOURS. i know the past sucks, but i can’t change that. but with attitudes like yours…it’s going to be a LONG time before anything changes.
