I am a minority who can read a map. I had a good education unlike most minorities. When the education playing field is level. We need these types of lawsuits to level the playing field.
Right on “oh please”. Anyone who thinks that the Corporate Elite appreciate managers, supervisors, or plain dumb “whites” who discriminate against “non-whites” is tolerated, is stupid. No one likes to pay these claims. Especially the insurance carriers who by the say are also immersed such dumb mid-managers and stupidvisors. It is the underlinks who get the corps in trouble due to their breeding. The Law forbids it period. Just like these (*&$%S) spill out their hate for “illegal aliens” as failure of our enforcement agencies to uphold the law, they finally realize what the LAW is about when it comes down on them. HOORAY FOR THE COURT DECISION! Stamp out the haters.
So now and then a corrupt judge can award corrupt verdicts to corrupt classes with corrupt claims that mainly benefit corrupt lawyers – and this levels the playing field.
You shouldn’t be allowed to vote, drive, speak to anyone or get out of bed. Go shoot yourself.
It’s really scary to think that these people who are making these racist comments are in positions of power to employ people. It’s defintely people like them that keep racism in the workplace an ongoing occurrence. I guess you don’t believe that people of color are smart enough to even read the Insurance Journal, also?
It’s just like the majority to either (a) turn to terms like “liberal” or conservative” to vouch for their stance or (b) discuss the “greedy” attorney. Attornies have their place in society just like everyone else.
Just think about the broker functions, NAPSLO, RIMS and THINK about who you see there. YOU! If you attended a mostly minority event then YOU would feel out of place. Well, that’s the way most if not all Fortune 1000 companies are structured. I am not saying that everyone that is in the “majority” is a racist, but until you at least acknowledge that the pendulum of hiring and firing swings a certain way then these lawsuits will keep coming.
If you are in anyway “liberal”, Mr and Mrs Racist comments, then just admit that there are probably only a handful of minorities you know and you don’t bother to get to know any others. You’d much rather keep to your ignorant stereotypes and just think that certain people want to do menial labor and nothing else and/or their too stupid to do anything else.
I.E. Look at a list of inventions just for the 20th century alone and you will see use items used everyday invented by people of color.
How’s the playing field level when the minorities that you speak of are uneducated because they choose to be..not because they can’t or won’t?? Maybe the minorities like yourself, who are educated (at least that’s what you say…I am beginning to wonder though…)should be wondering why their fellow minority general public aren’t getting educated.
If they don’t get any portion of their college paid for through their own merit, then get a job and work to pay for their education at a community college…grants and loans could be a way to go as well…but as has been stated in a previous comment…they should get off their minority butt and get busy making their future happen rather than sitting around waiting for someone to give it to them.
