Ventura County Fire Department’s annual Wildland Fire & Safety Expo will be held Saturday, May 21 at the Regional Fire Training Center in Camarillo, California.
This annual event gathers together fire personnel, local suppliers and county residents to share information about the latest fire protection supplies and services available to homeowners and businesses. Seminars on fire prevention, fire protection, and wildland fire safety will be presented. Related agencies will be on hand with equipment demonstrations and to answer questions.
“This is a prime opportunity for local residents to come out and be proactive about fire prevention,” said Fire Prevention Officer Russ Cole. “With warm weather coming early and fire season opening soon, everyone needs to be mindful of the potential fire hazards. We encourage all county residents to attend.”
The Wildland Fire and Safety Expo which will run from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. is free and open to the public.
