Georgia-based Bridium, a technology provider and custom services company for the insurance industry, has been selected by Med-Pay, Inc. as its exclusive application service provider (ASP) for workers’ compensation claims processing.
Incorporated in 1984, Med-Pay is a third-party administrator (TPA) for workers’ comp, as well as medical and dental claims for self-insured employer benefit plans located throughout southwest Missouri.
Specifically, Bridium will customize its Internet-based Claims3 application for multi-line claims processing to meet Med-Pay’s particular needs and will remotely host the TPA’s workers’ comp claims administration and processing systems.
Claims3 reportedly allows organizations to achieve greater claims processing efficiency by providing core claims processing workflow tools, including diary, notes, letters, subrogation, salvage, imaging, document management, and the administration of workers’ comp benefits and compliance reporting.
Claims3 also supports the integration with client back-end systems and third-party vendors to facilitate the ordering and receiving of police and ISO reports, fraud detection, communication with independent appraisers, and the exchange of medical bill data with adjudication providers.
