Fremont Employers Insurance Company (FEIC) has received an “A- (Excellent)” rating from A.M. Best Company. FEIC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Employers Insurance Company of Nevada, A Mutual Company (EICN).
“Today is another historic day in our company’s continuing evolution as the pre-eminent provider of workers’ compensation in the Western United States,” said EICN CEO Douglas Dirks. “A.M. Best’s rating announcement regarding FEIC is an important and positive development for our company.”
FEIC’s rating was part of a pooling agreement wherein EICN and FEIC received the same “A – (Excellent) rating by Best. EICN was assigned its “A – (Excellent)” rating in June 2003.
“I am both pleased and proud of the continuing hard work and dedication of all of our company’s employees. Today’s strong rating for FEIC is a direct result of their continued commitment to provide industry-leading product and services to our policyholders,” added Dirks.
The companies operating under the trade name Employers Insurance Group provide workers’ compensation insurance, claims management, loss prevention consulting, underwriting and care management services.
The EIG companies include Employers Insurance Company of Nevada, A Mutual Company, a writer of workers’ compensation insurance in Nevada with offices in Reno and Henderson; Fremont Employers Insurance Company with offices in Glendale, Newbury Park, Fresno and San Francisco, and Boise, Idaho; and Care Network, Inc. a provider of care management services to Nevada’s injured workers, with offices in Reno and Henderson.
