Joe\’s fat, ugly younger sister is posting all over these boards under my name. Better not turn her down for a date or you are next.

Seriously, we thought Joe was immature?
How immature is it to call someone fat (over the internet) and post under their names?

I love the posts from these morons! Makes me glad I am more intelligent. :)

Thank you for your post, Midle of the Road. You at least are familiar with the insurance industry. I never suggested allegations in lawsuits were fact. I did state that State Farm has not had an adjudication of a case go in their favor. I did point out that State Farm apparently has a history of problems with their engineering reports, see OKLA settlemeent. I choose not to respond to some of the others as they are not capabale of grasping the simplist of insurance concepts. My point was and is that the smart business decision was to have a policy limits case without the possibility of punitive awards. As long as the slab cases are not settled, there is the possiblility of relatively open ended punitive awards ( i undersatand that even punitive damages have limits). State Farm and Nationwide operated similarly in Mississippi and the State Farm apologists hijack all threads to defend State Farm. I understand that the headline of this article was about Nationwide, but the first post was that of a State Farm apologist defending State Farm\’s cliams handling, hence the State Farm references throughout the thread.

Middle of the Road, sorry if you took offense, none was intended. I was just pointing out something which I had stated and thought you overlooked.

Joe, no real offense taken but thank you for the response. I did not really care for your phrase about reading closer. I have read a lot, in IJ and elsewhere, regarding these issues, and thus formed my opinions.

Please refer me to another time when the CEO of another insurance carrier was brought up on criminal charges for claims handling practices

Joe: I can\’t refer you to another time when a CEO was brought up on criminal charges, & I also can\’t find any reference to the CEO of State Farm being charged for anything at any time.

Where are you getting this information?

Ed Rust and Lecky King were the subject of a grand jury investigation. When it became clear that they would be indicted, they agreed to RE-EVALUATE the denied claims in exchange for shutting down the grand jury, with the right to re-open.

Joe, again Mark asked you a very specific question that you failed to answer. He didn\’t asked for your canned crap that you spew, he asked you WHERE you got that information.

You said they \”were brought up on criminal charges.\” When? Who charged them with crimes?
Once again joe, I have never seen that tidbit in the news, and I think that criminal charges against anyone in the insurance industry just might have been picked up on by the national media.

Don\’t you know how busy he is? Now he has to hack a website to post a \”story\” about what he is claiming. Now, in your opinions Mark and Dale… is being brought up on charges DIFFERENT than having an investigation into you or your company?
