Just got a quote from a allstate agent for Royal Palm. Quoted coverage is abt 100K less, and premium abt. $1,700. Prior coverage was abt. $278K. I wanted to know why my coverage is so low and the agent explained that the dwelling does not include land, the other structure coverage was quoted for $162K whereas with my current insur. co. it is abt $27,8K I was not with allstate prior, was with another company that I was paying abt $1,800. They sent me my declaration to renew with a new premium of abt. $3,500. I also tried State Farm and was told they are not writing new policies East of I-75 or unless the home was built in 2003 or later? So for me right now Royal Palm does not seem like a bad idea and timing is everything.

Does anyone have a phone number to contact Royal Palm? I can\’t find any info on them anywhere. My policy with Allstate has 15 days left on it and they haven\’t given me any info on the switch to Royal Palm. I\’m dropping my auto insurance with them as well. They (Allstate) has been no help at all with this \’switch\’.

We have *never* made any claims even when some neighbors had new roofs on the last hurricane. The audacity to write how nice it was that Royal Palm was coming in! Well, I cancelled my Allstate auto insurance, and as soon as I find another insurer I will be cancelling my Allstate policy on my California. What comes around goes around.

I do not know anything about Royal Palm. Allstate just called me and matched Tower Hill Insurance. It was 1/2 cheaper than I paid last year. Has anyone heard of Tower Hill Insurance?
