Rumors state that it was hit very hard. No power,phone lines, or cell towers are left standing according to reports. I grew up there and my parents still live there presently. I also would appreciate any info.
I am stationed in Iraq part of the natioal guard and I have a fiance who is pregnant in seminary ms . If anyone can tell me how bad the storm damage was or if there is an approximate time that the phone lines will be up please let me know! I am worried about her! jason.david.sanchez@us.army.mil

I have been trying to contact family or friends since Monday and have not been able to get through to anyone. Would appreciate any information, news articles on the state of Picayune after Katrina.
I have some dear friends that live at 22043 Eatridge Ln. Picayine Miss Thier names are Vee and Sammy. Please let me know when you find out any thing.. I’v tried to call but couldn’t get throught

Jim and Pearl Kennedy are my uncle and aunt and their daughter Ann Archer and grandson Christopher Archer all stayed at home together on Richardson Rd. Thank you for any information you may have.
