Ellisville, Laurel, Moselle and most of Jones county was severly hit. Could be several weeks for power and phones…last i heard, officials had reported 3 deaths, i believe.
We have a relative that lives on Luther Walker Rd. Does anyone have pictures or information on this area of Picayune. Pleas any information would be helpful she works for the Picayune Funeral Home but is currently in Panama City. We are trying how bad it is there and when she may be able to get to her home. What is the damage in Vancleave or Wade MISSISSIPPI???? They haven’t said a word about the small towns within a 100 mile radius of the coastal cities, and one cannot contact via phone.
My brother in law – in Tennessee – has spoken to some of my family there and is headed to Picayune tomorrow with food, generators, etc. I don’t really know of a way to get information from within Picayune either, I will post more as I hear more.
My two granddaughters live at 30 Oak dr.,Picayune. I know they made it to Jackson, Ms to their aunts home. But have not heard from anyone since Monday morning.
They were worried they have no home to go home too……If anyone knows this address or if anyone is able to get back into picayune. Please e-mail me. Thank you and may God bless and look after all that are homeless.
