What does that tell you? Two guys are in jail who deserve to be there. They did it to themselves and took peoples money. Doesn\’t anyone out there understand? Crime equals time. You folks out there support the criminals and not the victims. What are you thinking? A 5 year investment is a great deal when when it\’s legitimate. Let these guys out and watch em run. Saving their own rear ends is priority one. The investors are the victims. You won\’t see either one of these fine up-standing citizens coming up with the victims money anytime soon. They won\’t be selling off their properties, their cars or anything else to make restitution. These two men made their bed and must sleep in them. Don\’t make either one of these criminals out to be saints. They hurt a lot of people and should have thought of that ahead of time. Now all they have is time.

You must think the Petrarcas lived in a cardboard box before they moved into their current residence address. I know they bought this house with the equity they built in their original Florida house, which they purchased 10 years ago. They always had a nice life. You speak from which you know nothing.

Not one of the Investors has lost their houses, you\’re exagerating. I know several who have bought new cars and taken vacations to Las Vegas and gone on Cruises.

If they didn\’t have the money to lose they shouldn\’t have taken a chance and invested it. That\’s what an investment is, it\’s gambling. Maybe they should take some of the responsibility for their own greed. They invested because AI was paying more of an interest rate than the banks were or are.

If you can\’t a loss, don\’t invest! There are no sure things.

Why do you keep harping on just Petrarca paying back and making restitution? No body ever mentions that Masciarelli should or is expected to.

Who will hire Petrarca? Are you kidding me, lots of places – he\’s got a wonderful mind. Besides which, you seem to forget he also had a lucrative business which he can upstart in one month given the opportunity. He\’s willing do it, why are you not seeing beyond the nose on your face? Don\’t spite yourself. If you have money and want it back. Let him try. The interest payments were made on a slow rate – monthly – all the investors were pleased with that. And I will mention it again, it was a five year plan before anyone was to get their initital investment back. Everyone was pleased with the interesr.

Isn\’t it a funny thing that when the 4 day visitation time comes rolling around, people have to call Joyce to arrange and schedule visitation. Steve hasn\’t had a day with no visitors. From Florida and from Rhode Island.

Yet there\’s lonesome old Tom with nary a visitor to be had. Since he\’s been there in 31 days I think the same female has said hello maybe 3 times. Isn\’t that a shame.

What does that tell ya? Think about it.

Their is no victory, just the knowledge that two criminals are in jail. Repeat after me, two criminals are in jail. The \”Stand up guy\” and his lowlife pal are where they belong.

Why are you so bitter? I\’d suggest some counselling to help you get through this.
What goes around comes around, remember that. And, there is one guy who thinks himself the Master Mind behind everything, who while in there is still trying to wheel and deal. and, there is one guy who tried to right a wrong. All he got for it was a kick in the teeth. Even the ones that got paid back arent\’ willing to stand up and say that they did, there\’s more going on than little old you is privlidged to. Someday maybe, just not yet.

The \”Stand Up Guy\” and his \”Low Life Buddy\” are in jail! Did it give you some perverse pleasure in just writing that?

Where is the justice or the correctness in that statement? I don\’t get it, you\’ll have to enlighten me.

I do know that \”Stand up Guy\” is just that, and isn\’t it strange that you don\’t even need to mention which is which, just by the nature of the two, you automatically know of whom how each is referred to.

The crazy part is, here are all these Investors / Victims, however you\’d like to refer to them, with a win but no glory, no money, no payback. Crazy Part, that Stand Up Guy Petrarca, is still willing to try to make it right for everyone.

Personally, after the last year and a half, I think he\’s getting a well deserved rest away from the phones and the begging and the crying and the questions and disbelief and lack of understanding and all the finger pointing and the responsibility and trying over and over and over to make things right.

Although I\’m certain he misses his family dearly, as they miss him. It must be a welcome relief for him to just be away and not deal with all the lunacy he dealt with for such a long time. Just living with the uncertainty has had to have been terrible.

He\’ll land on his feet, he always does.
He\’ll pray, read, learn, get some rest, get some exercise. He\’ll be fine. Put his mind to a rest for a while. He knows as well does his family, what he did, what he attempted to do and so does his Maker.

The \”Low Life Buddy\”, that\’s another story that no body has the time or the inclination to try and figure out.

once again i will say that both sides will continue to have a difference of opinion but like i said before…it doesnt matter how you spin it….the money was STOLEN from these people….it was not used for what it was supposed to be used for therefore the deal should be null and void..steve said in court that he used some of the money to pay HIS bills…yes he did say that….and i mention steve because steve is the one not tom who came to my families home and convinced them to invest with him…he was an advisor for them for many many years and they had no reason not to trust him which makes this the worse part of all this…he abused that trust…at that point he knew what tom was up to but still took their money still cashed the check and still spent it..so i\’m sorry but i dont think he is this wonderful man…maybe he was before he got involved with tom but he could have said no or contacted the authorities but he didnt …he kept taking money from more victims….my family members worked all their life for that money and he had NO right to take it and abuse their trust….

You act like you know all the facts.

Tom stole and Steve was bamboozled by him, just like we all were. Let him out and we WILL get our dollars back. There is a plan in MOTION. Don\’t rock the boat and we will get our money back.

We didn\’t win anything with them both in the clink. Steve is a upstanding guy. He didn\’t know which end up was up when he got tied in with Tom. Steve tried and tried, I know – I watched him suffer and paddle like a duck. Tom undermined everything he did. Steve cand and will make things right.

Many of us pray for he and his family every night. Steve and Joyce are good people, we can\’t tell you anything good about Tom; sorry about that. But check his history, he\’s been doing this with Investors since 1995, they all stated that in court on the 26th.

Have faith, you\’ll see and you\’ll be pleased.
