after reading some postings: Joyce gave up a child when she was young ( to save face) She Married her first Steven had Amanda and Steven, then dumped him when he was dionosed with cancer. Steven left his first wife when she had their son Steven. Beacause the son wasn\’t healthy (is emotionly challenged) he was also cheating on his first wife while she was in the hospital with their sick son. (yes it was with Joyce) Then the 2 high school sweat hearts got together to live the fantacy life. with their 2 children, (yup left his son-behind) why did they leave RI, oh yes an insurance fraud investigation! Go figure!
and all of you that dish WW – remember Steve and Joyce\’s parents still live there! and also the people (the grand parents of C, who trusted the home town boy) live there, or as i read may not be able to stay there because of the lack of retirement funds stolen by steven. And as far as i read C doesn\’t live in WW, her grand parents do, so dishing WW doesn\’t hurt her! face it there is more behind joyce and steve than meets the eye. don\’t get fooled by the bling! My parents had divorced 8 years earlier when I was in third grade, so no she didn\’t leave him because he was sick, quite to the contrary she remained friendly w/ him and brought him food many nights and brought me to visit him in the hospital during his chemo.
And Steve and his first wife divorced in the early 80\’s. He never cheated with Joyce, but he also never abandoned his son, Steven Jr. who thinks the world of him to this day.
This is about the victims, the money and hopefully a resolution, why it is a personal attack on my mother I don\’t know. He should have come forward before the autorities came to him, but he just kept trying to \”fix the problem\” – which at the point it has escalated it, couldn\’t be fixed without help.

If Steve cheated on his first wife, it sure as all heck wasn\’t with Joyce. But, just like a story book, the two sweethearts were lucky enough to get together again, were always in love and did get married at a lovely garden wedding with you as a flower girl and your brother as a ring bearer. We were at the wedding, one the whole small town will remember for years and talk about to this day.

The man wants to work to pay back the victims, many of the victims think that the need for restitution out weighs the need for Steve to sit in jail – he was wrong to believe Tom would make things right, he kept paying the interest out if his own pocket for some time waiting for Tommy to catch up. Tommy withdrew thousands of dollars from Palm Beach Kennel Club ..WEEKLY – thats documented in the court records. Steve paid for his office – which is totally legal they were told they could take a salary.
