Garry Kaufman, president of Galveston Insurance Associates in Texas accepted an award recently on behalf of his agency after it was named one of three Federal Insurance & Mitigation Administration’s 2002 Agencies of the Year.
The award recognizes agencies writing flood insurance that have made significant contributions to the National Flood Insurance Program. This includes achieving superior policy growth, participating in flood awareness activities, adhering to established underwriting guidelines, and applying innovative marketing.
GIA was nominated by Patty Templeton-Jones, vice president of First Community Insurance Company. The award was presented at the National Flood Conference in San Francisco.
