Thanks for the answer. I guess that makes sense.

Jewel-she ripped Bush for not approving a subsidy program. That\’s what we in the United States of the Clear-headed call \”agreement\” and \”support.\”

I must have missed it then. Where did Rosie rip on Bush? What did she say?

Next time there\’s a hurricane that goes thru Florida, let all have a beer or two (or twelve) so that we can rest-up for the next round of FL Bail-out Buffs.

She said \”I hope George treats Laura better. He says no to everything. He\’s probably had a headache for 6 years straight.\”

Not sure how that was interpreted as she is in favor of this idea. I personally think it was sarcasm on her part. But nowhere in that post did she say she was in favor of it. She is anti-Bush after all. I guess it is all about how you read between the lines. I guess that\’s what happens when you live in the United States of make believe. (I was going to post that in a nicer way, but what the heck… cut the crap was rude to me first).

I read a real good article that applies here. It said that subsidized insurance and catastrophe insurance just encourages dangerous behavior. If you have to assume the costs of your behavior and cannot look to others for help you will not be as likely to live in a dangerous way. I hear all your complaints but in this country you are free to live and work wherever you please. If you live in a dangerous, expensive area and cannot afford it-leave. I have read all of these postings and I feel so blessed. I live in Calif 250 miles from LA, 200 miles from SF and 100 miles from the coast. No earthquate danger, no flood or hurricanes, no tornadoes, lots of sunshine and 1 hour from Yosemite. I pay $1200/yr property taxes, $400.00 for property insurance, own my home outright in a nice neighborhood and cannot conceive of the problems you people have. If I had your problems I would move. Maybe that is why everyone moves east to west. Do not believe all you hear about Calif. This is truly paradise.

I thought I somehow missed a rosie post or she said something that was deleted.

Crappy sure made a big noise about that. I was expecting something good.
