Um, FYI — irregardless is NOT a word. Regardless is a word and irrespective is a word but NOT irregardless. No disrespect and no racist intent on my email by from all your previous emails I am sure you will read racism into this as well.

Do you even have your teaching credential Miss 8th grade teacher? If you ever have to look inside of a dictionary it states: Irregardless — NONSTANDARD. Use regardless. So no, irregardless is NOT a word. Please go and obtain your teaching credentials before you screw up the education of our children.

So via your logic, white people can not buy or listen to any music produced by black people? Now is this logic of yours vice versa meaning black people are not allowed to buy or listen to music produced by white people? And does this apply to all peoples of all ethnicities?

Wow, I am going to miss listening to Nina, Ella, Sarah and Etta. Too bad.

    Eloquent and insightful.

Thank you personally, and on behalf of all of the other reasoned and thoughtful posters.

Hey, American Pride. Do you grade the papers of all those who comment on this website or only those that you seem to dislike? The general lack of grammar and spelling skills IS quite mind boggling, but this is an IJ posting site, not a think tank. I’m just curious if it always bothers you or just sometimes?

Irregardless of what you say, here are some other fantastic examples of words I (unfortunately) hear on a regular basis…

Pacifically. Could you explain that to me more pacifically?

Axe. I would like to axe you a question.

Supposively. She supposively went over there.

Conversate. They just wanted to sit and conversate about it.

Nucular. The President wants to avoid a nucular war.

Tempachur. I should take my tempachur to see if I have a fever.

Warsh. Are you going to the car warsh?

Sprang. Jane sprang her ankle when she fell.

    Your favorites?

    How true.

While not uniformly so, a great many of them sprang from the same “culture”.

I think I know the “culture” to which you refer, WooX3…

The ones who watch Jerry Springer not so much for the cheap entertainment value but for enriching life lessons they cull from the ‘guests’?

Perhaps those who watch MTV and actually believe what they see on “The Real World” is indeed real?

Maybe you’re talking about the youth who drive maniacally in junky little imports with the neon what-nots and scare stickers all over, along with the loud, distorted speakers thumping away, and the exhaust pipes that look like they were made with Folger’s cans?
(No talking about those who race legally on a track. That stuff is actually interesting.)

Thank goodness there are a lot of kids who do stay in school, watch MTV and Springer and know it’s just for fun, and drive the zippy little cars but still obey traffic laws.

Just curious, African Pride, what did WooX3 say that was racist in his/her non-words post?

I mean, if you’re basing your opionion off an assumption, by all means, go ahead. But please clarify, if you would because some of us are confused by your anger.

Also realize, just because you’re assuming an underlying context exists doesn’t necessarily mean you’re correct in doing so.
