Representatives of the medical profession and insurance industry will participate in a panel discussion on March 11 between 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., moderated by Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Diane Koken, on “The Medical Malpractice Insurance Crisis.”
The panel is part of the Ratemaking Seminar sponsored by the Casualty Actuarial Society. Panelists include Gail M. Ross, Milliman USA; Linda Dembiec, Medical Mutual Liability Insurance Society of Maryland; Samuel R. Marshall, Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania and James M. Redmond, Hospital and Health System Association of Pa.
The discussion will be held at the Wyndham Franklin Plaza Hotel, 17th & Race Streets, Philadelphia, Pa. in the Wyndham Ballroom A/B.
The bulletin described the Casualty Actuarial Society as “an organization dedicated to the advancement of the body of knowledge of actuarial science applied to property, casualty and similar risk exposures.” It added that the “Ratemaking Seminar provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of ratemaking methods, concepts and issues.”
