May 5, 2011

Alyssa Hostelley has been promoted to president and Matt Grover to vice president of product management, announced BlueWave Technology, a claims management technology provider for the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry.

Hostelley replaces Riki Fujitani as president. Fujitani will remain the CEO of BlueWave Technology. Hostelley will take over day-to-day responsibility of leading BlueWave’s efforts to modernize claim systems and operations for its clients, as well as oversight for ongoing research and development on the company’s Pipeline Claims product and business development.

With over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, Hostelley brings multi-disciplinary expertise in the areas of operations, finance, product development and project management to her new role as president.

“Alyssa has been critical to our success in managing and expanding the relationships that have allowed our significant growth,” said Riki Fujitani, chief executive officer of BlueWave.

Stepping into the role of vice president of product management, Matt Grover will be managing the overall direction and evolution of Pipeline Claims. He will be leading a team of business analysts dedicated to assessing new product features for development and providing strategic product direction.

Previously, as product manager, Grover led system integration efforts for the client implementation team, and participated in BlueWave’s sales efforts. Grover offers more than 15 years of experience in IT, including several years of life/health and property/casualty claim management software applications on both the vendor and the client sides.
