Hawaii-based DTRIC Insurance has purchased the ImageRight document management system. ImageRight will reportedly help DTRIC to improve workflow in its operating areas from underwriting to claims management. The company will go live in late March.
“We didn’t want just records management. We wanted document management, including workflow,” said George Lucas, CIO. “ImageRight arranged for us to visit with three insurance clients in the Chicago area. Our team came back very impressed. We had already automated our sales process. With ImageRight, we’ll bring the CRM approach to the claims first-notice-of-loss process and get rid of paper claims files.”
“The DTRIC project shows what can be done with the right system,” said Phil Iaccarino, implementation manager at ImageRight. “Not just paper documents but voice recordings, photos, and emails will be digitized and go into the electronic claim file. Access and retrieval will be virtually immediate.”
DTRIC specializes in personal automobile, homeowners and workers’ compensation insurance exclusively for the people of Hawaii.
