Calif. Commissioner Applauds New SCIF Board Appointments

Calif. Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi released the following statement regarding the recent appointments to Board of Directors of the State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF).

“I would like to commend Governor Davis on his selection of John Dunlap as Chair of the Board of Directors of the State Compensation Insurance Fund, and James Santangelo as a new board member. We welcome and look forward to working with them as we attempt to resolve the problems faced by SCIF, as well as the extraordinary workers’ compensation costs plaguing California’s employers.”
