The Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP) will hold its 16th Annual Conference at the Marriott City Center, Sept. 21 – 24, in Denver. The AICP annual conference brings together industry professionals and regulators to discuss current and timely insurance topics in the areas of property and casualty, as well as life and health. Special sessions allow for meetings with regulators from various states.
There are over 80 educational sessions planned, with a multitude of topics to choose from – Privacy, Terrorism, OFAC, SERFF, Checklists and Product Locator, and updates on hot topics from the trade associations. For P/C, participants can choose from sessions covering DMV Reporting, Best Practices, Surplus Lines, Credit Scoring and Claims Made Filings among others. There will be regulator participation in 40 of the sessions, including Regulator Round-Tables and Regulator One-on-One sessions. States that will be represented include Ark., Calif., Colo., Fla., Ky., La., Ma., N.C., N.D., Ohio, Okla., Ore., S.C., Texas, Va., Wash. and Wis.
