The 57th Annual SAWCA (Southern Association of Workers’ Compensation Administrators) Convention will be held July 24-27, 2005 at the Don Cesar Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida.
The speakers include Tom Crawford, CEO of Crawford & Company, Miguel Jimenez, Orthopedic Surgeon speaking; C. Wade McGuffey, Jr, of Goodman, McGuffey Aust & Lindsey LLP and Richard Kissiah of Kissiah & Lay; Representative Dennis Ross, Chair of the House Insurance Committee, Florida House of Representatives; William Nemeth, MD of the Texas Workers’ Compensation Commission; Eric Oxfeld of UWC Inc.; and Tim Lemke and Rusty Watts of Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers LLP.
Included in the schedule is the Toby Wright Golf Tournament for the benefit of Kids’ Chance. In conjuction with SAWCA, there will be an offering of a CWCP (Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional) certification session for adjusters handling Georgia Workers’ Compensation claims.
