Ebix.com Inc. Switches Name to Ebix, Inc.

Atlanta-based Ebix, an international supplier of software and e-commerce solutions to the insurance industry, has changed its name to Ebix, Inc. from ebix.com, Inc. effective immediately.

To mark the event, the company also announced a new logo that can be seen at www.ebix.com

“Over the last few quarters, the company has expanded its portfolio of services substantially with a strong focus on custom software development and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO),” said Robin Raina, chairman, president & CEO of Ebix, Inc. “The former name did not do justice to our brick and mortar infrastructure in India and the related BPO, Call Center & Development divisions. So, we decided to re-christen the company as Ebix, Inc.”

Raina added, “The company remains proud of its pioneering role in the insurance industry in terms of bringing Internet ASP based products to the insurance industry. We will continue to bring such state of the art technologies to the industry, in addition to providing cost effective outsourced services from our BPO, Call Center & Development divisions.”
