A Monroe, Louisiana woman was arrested Sept. 3 on charges relating to her husband’s death, according to the Associated Press.
Cassandra Pratt Newton was charged with second-degree murder, aggravated arson, insurance fraud and obstructing justice, after firefighters found the body of her husband, Ivory Newton, 26, in his burning house Aug. 30.
Newton was booked into the Ouachita Correction Center.
Investigators expect more arrests to be made.
