You represent the best of the Obama voters. Bet you used to work for NASA before Obama cancelled them out. At least President Obama keeps his promises! The President, our Senators, and House Members will all live under the same laws, benefits, and health insurance as everyone else soon. Rosie just read that the new government leaders are rushing a new 8th or 28th admendment thru to assure all Americans live under the same rules from now on. Isn’t that nice of them? And remember no one under 30 years old or here illegally will pay additional taxes to fund any of this.

Obama is going to be reelected. Sorry you don’t like it, but he truly is one of the most intelligent presidents we’ve ever had. Certainly leaps and bounds in intelligence over what we had the last 10 years. I put my full trust in the president to know what is best for the country and to do those things to the best of his ability. Sadly, republicans are more interested in scoring political points and fearmongering. And if they actually trot Sarah Palin out there as a legitimate presidential candidate, that just shows you how out of touch they are with reality.

By a vote of 60 to 40, Democrats voted to set aside a law that requires new spending to be offset with tax increases or spending cuts elsewhere.

Typical Democrat grandstanding, pass a law which looks good for the news then bypass it at the first chance you get.

Yep Obama proud as are so many of the residents of the 57 states he said he was going to visit.

I’m sure many of the veterans who were in the audience that he acknowledged that gave the ultimate sacrifice voted for him are proud too. Considering his background in Chicago politics, I would not be surprised if many vets who were dead did vote for him.

Hey Obama Proud! You must be one of those lucky people who pay no taxes, enjoy all the nannystate benefits and don’t plan on working any time soon. The house of cards Obama is presiding over will soon come crashing down and all his Socialist friends in Congress will be losing their jobs in November and we will see how he likes being a lame duck for the last 2 years of his Presidency.

Obama supporters like Obama becauses he tells them anything they want to hear, had some decent rock stars playing when he ran for election, and has good looks. Judging from the way he talks when he has no teleprompter, his lack of regard for the future solvency of America, world security, the climate, drugs, smoking, and other issues he has an IQ far less than any other President in over 100 years.

It is my understanding that “Pay as You Go” contains a provision which exempts “emergency spending” from the mandate. I believe what was debated and voted on yesterday was whether or not HR 4851 constitutes (or would be defined as) “emergency spending”. I listened to much of the debate on the Senate floor and that was the gist of it, emergency or non-emergency…

I can’t believe that thousands of people are being prevented from closing on properties located in flood zones because Congress has tied the Flood Insurance Bill in with the Unemployment bill. It’s absurd! I have been waiting for 2 weeks and once the bill is approved I will still have another week before the bank will okay the policy because they have to have it reviewed by the underwriter, the bank and the title company. The sellers are in a terrible bind and this is just awful that so many others are also affected by the delay. Please let me know as soon as this bill is passed

Ulcers are growing in Rhode Island. Just before the flooding started a few weeks ago the Senate took off for bunny day.
Policies that were to renew during their absence still are not being renewed.
We have areas in Texas where the flood maps were changed, of course that is true in the rest of the country. Mortgage companies have told their borrowers in those areas they need flood insurance. All those are on-hold.
The republicans don’t have enough votes to pass gas and the demos are a loose cannon.

    OBAMA LIED, BENEFITS DIED.

We all need to stop saying Obama is spending OUR money. That is all lies. Our money was spent his first month on the job. Now he’s spending our Great Grandchildren’s money. Get it straight people. LOL
