IVANS Announces 2003 Network Management Seminars

January 14, 2003

IVANS Networking announced its 2003 schedule of Network Management Seminars for the insurance industry. The seminars are held across the country and will tackle how networking solutions play a role in helping insurance and healthcare companies manage productivity.

The Network Management Seminars will address the following key issues:

Security – The risks of security are on the rise with Internet systems becoming more complex, hackers getting smarter and more numerous and federal regulators mandating new requirements.

Business Continuity – Taking the right network precautions by implementing disaster recovery and backup plans are no longer a recommended strategy, but an absolute requirement.

Remote Workforce – Providing reliable and secure remote solutions that help employees efficiently process claims and give traveling executives the ability to keep in constant communication around the country with high-speed broadband connections that have become critical to staying competitive.

Trading Partner Communications – Managing data communications between trading partners whether they are insurance agents, healthcare providers or third-party administrators is not a simple task. With the right network in place, internal and external end-users can conduct any transaction and increase efficiency.

IVANS Network Management Seminars are open to all insurance companies, agencies, healthcare providers and organizations related to the insurance industry at no cost. At each seminar, attendees will learn about network technologies, how they relate to what is going on in the insurance industry, and what IVANS is doing to help. The seminars scheduled for 2003 will be in the following locations:

New York (March 25); Washington, D.C. (March 27); Lincolnshire, Ill. (April 29); San Francisco (May 1).
