Bismarck woman facing an insurance fraud charge related to a March vehicle crash now faces more felony charges related to alleged fraud schemes involving renter’s insurance policies.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that Ella Bowen-Davis faces forgery and insurance fraud charges for allegedly making fraudulent claims on the policies and forging documents to back up the claims. A court date was not immediately set.
Bowen-Davis faces separate trials in November on reckless endangerment and insurance fraud counts. She’s accused of chasing her husband through Bismarck on March 29 with three children in the back seat of her Suburban and ramming his vehicle, sending her own into a house. She and her husband are accused of misleading insurance adjusters about the incident.
