A Dickinson furniture business with a history of fires has suffered another one.
The Dickinson Press reports that no one was hurt in the Wednesday morning fire at Dakota Church Furniture, and the damage was not extensive. Company official Blaine Dukart says rags in a barrel caught fire, blackening walls and causing smoke damage. He says it could have been worse.
Rags in a barrel also caught fire at the business last month, and a fire in August 2001 caused an estimated $75,000 in damage to the company that makes pews and cabinets for churches.
