New Hampshire investigators are trying to determine the cause of an early morning fire that caused more than $40,000 in damage to a Nashua middle school.
The fire alarm at the Fairgrounds Middle School sounded at about 4 a.m. Tuesday.
The fire was quickly extinguished and school custodians were working to minimize water damage.
Summer school did resume at the school for about 110 students. The fire was contained to an area of the school housing arts and sciences classrooms.
WMUR-TV says fire officials remain at the scene to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
