Firefighters say nine Maine fire departments were called to fight a fire that destroyed a house and barn in the town of Casco.
The call for the fire on Tenney Hill Road came in around 2 a.m. Tuesday.
WMTW-TV says one person was home when the fire broke out, but that person escaped uninjured.
The house and barn were attached.
An investigator from the state fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
