A man has filed a lawsuit saying he was injured when he was thrown off a mechanical bull in a Western-themed New York City restaurant.
Aaron Schnore’s lawsuit accuses the midtown Manhattan restaurant of negligence for “allowing and promoting an inebriated individual to use and ride the mechanical bull.”
Attorney Lawrence Saftler says his 38-year-old client had been drinking at Johnny Utah’s in Rockefeller Center when injured May 7.
The lawsuit says someone sped the bull’s bucking while Schnore was riding, causing it “to become more violent” in an effort to throw him off.
The lawsuit says Schnore was “seriously injured” but doesn’t give specifics. It seeks unspecified damages.
No one at Johnny Utah’s has returned a telephone message seeking comment.
