Saratoga Springs, NY, October 1, 2014– Atlantic Specialty Lines (ASL), a wholesale broker and specialty lines MGA offering a variety of property, casualty, professional, and personal lines coverages, continues its expansion by announcing the opening of its newest office located in Saratoga Springs, NY. This opening puts ASL in the driver seat to capture the huge opportunity in the Northeast.
The person doing the driving will be Jim Woolford, a four year veteran to the ASL underwriting team. As a Producer at ASL, Jim has focused on Property and Casualty, Commercial Package, and has specialized in tough-to-place and large accounts. Prior to joining ASL, he worked for a retail insurance agency in Richmond, VA focusing on Commercial lines placement, which gives him a unique ability to fully understand what the retail agent’s needs are.
Greg Provenzo, President of ASL Mid-Atlantic, states “By combining a strong and stable base of premium with the opening of a physical location in Saratoga Springs, we will strengthen our already long-standing relationships with New York and surrounding agents. Because of Jim’s underwriting experience, market knowledge and energy he is the right person to achieve our aggressive growth plan. Jim and his team will stick to the ASL core business values of underwriting integrity and providing our partners with the best possible Customer Experience.”
