Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc. Appoints Tim Grant as Senior Vice President of Business Development for the Commercial Division

San Diego, CA, 10/24/2012 ARROWHEAD General Insurance Agency, Inc. has hired Tim Grant as the Senior Vice President of Business Development for the Commercial Division. As of Monday, October 22, 2012, Grant began overseeing all of the Commercial Division’s marketing and new business development initiatives. He will also focus on promoting and selling Arrowhead’s current line of Commercial programs while also looking to expand program offerings.

Arrowhead’s Chief Operating Officer and Commercial Division President, Steve Boyd, said Grant’s strengths in leadership and business strategy are perfectly aligned with the direction and goals of the Commercial Division. “Tim’s experience with new market entry and product and territory expansion are the highlights that make him a great fit for this role and our company,” Boyd said. “We look forward to the progress and continued development under his leadership.”

Grant joins Arrowhead with more than 17 years of progressive industry experience at the executive level. The new position is actually a return to Arrowhead for Grant, who started his insurance career at Arrowhead in 1994 as a marketing representative.

Recently, Grant served as the lead executive of auto/specialty product management at AAA NCNU Insurance Exchange. Grant’s areas of expertise include product management and development, pricing, underwriting, sales and marketing and agency automation. He earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation (CPCU) in 2012.
