Now in its 18th year, the annual insurance agent training event features top earning agency principals and producers who share their private marketing and business-growth strategies with attendees. Sessions cover all aspects of how to capture more new business and keep clients without list buying, cold calling, or price-based selling.
“Most insurance agents don’t consider themselves marketers,” says Jans, “our industry overemphasizes learning insurance, rather than learning how to market your agency as the clear choice for insurance in your marketplace. I created The Insurance Marketing Boot Camp to help agencies shorten the learning curve, and for many students, it does by several years.”
According to Jans what makes the Boot Camp unique isn’t just the training but also the community that takes place during the three-day event. “There is just so much valuable information being shared that some agents come just to talk to other attendees between sessions,” he adds, “It’s far beyond what I hoped to achieve.”
This year’s event is themed the “10X” Boot Camp because, says Jans, “We don’t think agencies ought to learn only from agencies that are one or two times bigger than they are. We also want them to learn strategies from agencies that are ten times bigger. We want agency principals in total control of how fast they grow their business. And it’s called a ‘Boot Camp’ because you’re gonna work when you get here.”
