Orange, CA, 03/01/12 – The Broker’s Insurance Group (B.I.G) announced the BIGGIE award winners at its inaugural gala on February 23. Over 200 professionals from carriers, suppliers, and agencies came together to enjoy a spectacular evening and celebrate the achievements of those in the auto insurance industry.
“We created the BIGGIE awards to recognize companies and individuals for their innovation, dedication, and best in class service,” stated Jon Spaugy, president and co-founder of the B.I.G. Association. “It is wonderful to kick off the second anniversary of B.I.G. with an event that acknowledges superior commitment and contribution to the independent agency system.”
Winners were determined through a 2,600 B.I.G. member and subscriber survey distributed throughout the state of California. Major winners included: Arceli Harvey, Explorer InsuranceforLifetime Achievement, Safeco Insurance Company for Standard Insurance Carrier of the Year, Unitrin Specialty for Non Standard Carrier of theYear and Best Buy Insurancefor Agency of the Year.
