Dozens of metal storm drain covers have been stolen from a subdivision in the far northwestern corner of the state, and authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding out who is responsible.
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office says that 30 of the covers had been reported missing in late November, but that number has risen to 75.
Authorities say they’re being taken from the Shadow Mountain subdivision south of the unincorporated community of Beaver Dam. The drain covers are 18 inches wide and 36 inches long.
A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever took them.
