Several homes along Lake Washington in Seattle, Wash., have been damaged by a fast-spreading fire that sent up a thick black column of smoke Monday afternoon. Two people are reported injured.
The Seattle Fire Department said the blaze was first reported as a furnace fire at one home. It quickly spread to at least two nearby homes.
KOMO-TV reports that one construction worker was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with burns. A firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.
