Authorities say a fire that destroyed an 11-unit apartment complex near Basalt, Colo., started after plumbing work was performed in one of units.
Basalt Deputy Fire Chief Jerry Peetz says a plumber was using a blowtorch to join two pieces of piping, and something caught fire Friday.
The fire displaced 33 residents.
