California Insurance Guarantee Association Selects Frasco to Oversee Investigation

The California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA) announced it has chosen Frasco Investigative Services, one of the largest insurance investigation corporations in the United States, to manage and perform investigation and special investigative unit (SIU) Services.

As the sole provider of CIGA’s SIU Services, Frasco will ensure compliance with all SIU anti-fraud regulatory requirements, including Department of Insurance and District Attorney referrals for potential prosecution, filing of SIU annual and suspected fraud claim reports, ongoing claim file fraud indicator reviews, and SIU anti-fraud training.

CIGA will have complete access to every aspect of the investigation process, including sending referrals, checking status, retrieving reports, viewing surveillance video and listening to recorded statements.
