CIGA Outsources IT Operations to Data Return

Data Return LLC, a provider of Strategic IT Operations services, was selected by the California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA) to provide a comprehensive IT outsourcing solution.

CIGA, which was created by the California Legislature to pay claims of
insolvent insurance carriers, recently selected a number of new applications in order to streamline its claims handling process, and determined it required a strategic partner to handle the new, more complex operating applications requirements.

Rather than building an extensive internal IT department, CIGA chose to outsource its day-to-day IT operations to Data Return — a decision
that reportedly saved the organization money and allowed them to focus on core business functions.

Data Return uses its Scalability Center to predict the performance and
reliability of each application used by CIGA prior to implementation. By testing the applications under various conditions, Data Return verifies that each will function and perform as expected. Data Return also meets with application vendors to ensure that the required performance of each application is achievable.
