New Mexico Mutual Group, Guidewire Team on System

New Mexico Mutual Group, a workers’ compensation carrier in the state of New Mexico, and Guidewire Software, a provider of solutions to property and casualty and workers’ compensation insurers, announced that New Mexico Mutual has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new claims system. ClaimCenter will support the entire claims organization and all phases of the claim process.

ClaimCenter reportedly gives the New Mexico Mutual claims organization the tools it needs to modernize and streamline the claim process to reduce costs for policyholders, while continuing to enhance service quality. Using ClaimCenter:

— Claims are automatically assigned to the most appropriate adjusters based on any criteria;

— Complex benefit calculations and reserves can be automated, reducing errors and ensuring accurate reserving;

— Forms and letters can be automatically generated, reducing time and expense;

— The handling process is tailored to the requirements of an individual claim or account.
