That anyone would vent their anger or frustration with such obtuse venom that also smears and denigrates the inocent children of such a tragedy is dispicable! Such outbutsts bring new meaning to the word hideous and defy further description.

I just watched this case story on one of the court tv channels. It was appalling seeing Jennifer and Matthew laughing during their trial. It was disrespectful to Joel and surely didn’t win any fans on the jury panel. Not very smart of them!

I saw this story on Dateline, and I remain confused that the circumstantial evidence was all but speculation by the police, and that this was enough for a jury to convict. I fear for our judicial system when things like having an untimely affair or cashing in a life insurance policy (or having a bottle of water sitting in your shower stall) makes you a murderer.

I agree they (mostly Matt Fletcher) lacked decorum in his license plates and their overall spending (any of that money go into college funds for the kids??)

I haven’t seen the transcript of the trial, but what they aired on Dateline does not prove that this couple killed Joel Shanbrom.

oh please grow up and try and have just an inkling of common sense. it’s idiots like yourself that let murderers go because they are in a state of denial the size of montana. the evidence in this trial was MORE than enough for a conviction. i just love how u conveniently forget about the mother’s testimony and what a lying cunt she was…just like her slutty daughter. jennifer is right where she belongs, and thankfully it’s for the rest of her useless life.

Not enough to convict? Are you kidding me? You don’t always need DNA when you have a TON of circumstantial evidence! If it walks like a spider, smells like a rat and creeps like a spider, it’s a BLACK WIDOW. It’s too bad Joel fell for this piece of crap and worked like a dog to make her happy. She never deserved him and definitely deserves to pay for the rest of her life behind bars. And as for her cocky new husband, you weren’t as smart as you thought you were, huh, big boy? IDIOT – LOL

Tracy you are so right. There was enough of circumstantial evidence too prove them guilty. I can believe how to acted immediately after the dead of this hard working man. So sad. They said he worked three jobs to make that female happy, I won’t refer to her as a woman; because a real woman could never do such a horrible thing. If law enforcement alway relied on DNA, or a smoking gun…plenty of killers would roam free. These two person actions after Joel’s death demonstrated what type of people they were. How could they think for a moment they would get away with such a horrific crime such as this. And this female was smiling so hard before the verdict was announced…how sick. But she wasn’t smiling after the verdict was read. Thank God for justice.

Sorry for the grammatical errors…I just watched the case on the ID channel for the second time. I have also read about it on other news sites. I truly believe if this female cared about her son, she would not have murdered his father. How could she profess love…she only loved herself, money, and that scamming new husband (Matt).

    MD,

I did read the court transcripts and the cover all evidence, that female told four different stories to fourdifferent officers at the crime scene that night, andl her mother told three. GUILTY NO DOUBT AND THE COURT RECORDS SEALS IT. You should read the court reports. You will be convinced of their guilt. Yes God is judge. But his word says don’t shed innocent blood. And Joel was innocent.

    records, what a Sin.

All of you might think justice has been served in this case, but there is a higher judge up there who would see this case end up where it should be! Jennifer and matt, I don’t conclude you both are guilty because I’m no judge! But, the way you both acted after an unsolved murder of a person, gives some amount of retribution from both of you. Again, i;m in no position to declare you both guilty of this crime but you’re guilty of impropriety!

Well, I was Joels best friend for over 22 yrs. I was with Jennifer after all this, and she didn’t act like your typical widower that just lost a husband. Before the murder, I had only met Matt maybe 2 times, and watching the 2 of them together, I could tell something was up, just never thought it would end up like this. Jennifer tried hard to play the grieving wife, but, her actions weren’t of a grieving wife. I believe with all my heart and soul , these 2 killed Joel and are where they belong. I don’t know who many of you are talking in here, but it’s nice to see all those who care and support the system. God Bless you all and RIP my friend.
