I knew you WAY back when. You were 3 the last time I saw you. I think of you often. I read through some of the other comments, and I just want you to know my take. I was friends with Matt, your mom and your dad, there two things I can tell you for sure (which I am sure you have already heard many times) you were everything for your father, and your father was an amazing man. I am a better person for having known him. You sound like you are doing well and always looking forward. Keep that up. I send you my love.

Joel’s friend: Please wake up!!! There wasn’t a wrongful conviction here; there was a first-degree murder for insurance proceeds. The Los Angeles DA’s office was meticulous in their investigation, except for one thing (from what I can gather). Had they done a paraffin test on Jennifer’s hands immediately after the murder, that may well have provided the “smoking gun” that the DA so desperately was seeking.
Hey guys…I think all you should understand we all have words on this matter, however some are being pulled from the paper and some from the air. I too have lived this from day 1. My husband had to take lie detector test and I HAVE READ THE COURT TRANSCRIPTS, my husband had to testify. Whom ever has harsh words to say..remember that Jacob is reading this and why would you say things that do nothing but continue to hurt him. Jacob we have some things here that you can have if you want them. things like your Dads jacket from the police academy, and pics of you and your dad when you were very little. Who ever you are, you couldnt be more wrong about most of what you said. I do agree, in the beginning, Joel and Jennifer were very much in love, and I am sure Jennifer loves her children very much, but, that’s where your truth ends. By reading your post, I very much doubt you were ever a good friend of Joels, I’d have to say your more of a friend of Jennifers. You need to realize, a name is just a name, doesnt mean your like anyone else that has the same name, even if your named after a person who isnt a good person.
