Allied North America announced the following appointments to its Fremont. Calif.-based office.
Lynne O’Connell has been promoted to senior vice president of Insurance and a member of Allied’s management team. O’Connell has over 20 years experience in both insurance company underwriting and retail brokerage operations. She is responsible for 16 employees in the insurance department, and managing the insurance program for Allied’s largest clients.
Jeffrey Parkhurst has joined Allied North America as senior vice president of the Surety department and has been appointed to the management team. Parkhurst comes to Allied with over 15 years of experience in domestic and international surety. He will be responsible for managing the surety market and client relationships for the California office.
Matthew Ennis joined as a vice president and will specialize in managing large construction accounts. Ennis has over 16 years experience in the California legal and insurance communities. He began his career as an attorney in private law practice specializing in business/real estate and insurance litigation. He then went in-house for 7 years as general counsel and general manager for a large California-based specialty contractor. Ennis’ experience also includes six years as an assistant vice president of an international risk management organization, where he advised medium and large businesses on issues related to risk management and insurance.
Neil Willian is the newly appointed claims manager who joined Allied after three years of experience in a construction law practice in Phoenix. Willian will assist clients with contract review, litigated claims and all large automobile, property or liability claims, and settlements under large deductible insurance programs.
