Police in Winchester, Ky., say they’ve arrested a man for driving a riding lawn mower while intoxicated.
The Winchester Sun reports 49-year-old Jeffrey S. Hayes was jailed on Sunday after he was observed driving along a road with a 6-year-old passenger. Hayes was charged with driving under the influence and wanton endangerment.
Officer Zach Conlee said Hayes could not complete several field sobriety tests and a breath test showed his blood-alcohol level was .22, which is over the legal limit of .08.
Jail records did not indicate whether Hayes had an attorney.
