A Tallahassee, Fla., couple has been charged with submitting false claims to the fund created to compensate victims of the 2010 BP oil spill.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office reported Friday that 46-year-old Henry Clyde Barnes and 41-year-old Nadine Barnes face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

According to the indictment, the pair sought reimbursement for work at a property management company that never existed.

It wasn’t immediately clear if they had an attorney.
