A spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration says a small airplane went down on a road 3 miles northwest of Lexington, but no injuries were reported.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reported on its Web site that the airplane that went down Tuesday afternoon was a two-person, single-engine Cessna 150.
FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen says emergency crews were searching for the airplane.
According to the FAA Registry, the plane is owned by Lexington Flying Club Inc.
