Police charged a 16-year-old with setting fire to an Anderson County, S.C. business.
Anderson County sheriff’s spokeswoman Susann Griffin says the teen, whose name was not released because of his age, has been charged with arson, burglary and petit larceny in connection with the fire May 17 at Parts Place in Piedmont.
It took firefighters about two hours to put the blaze out. There were no reported injuries.
Griffin says the teen was being held in a juvenile facility and is expected to go before a Family Court judge to determine whether he will be released to his parents.
